One of our recent projects was a fairly large master bathroom renovation. The existing floor was replaced, the existing fiberglass shower unit was removed and a new tile shower with a custom shower base with a tiled corner seat. The existing whirlpool tub was pulled all the old tile was removed and new was installed. A custom “heavy” glass door was installed with a oil-rubbed finish. All the faucets were changed out to new Moen faucet in oil-rubbed bronze. The valve was installed on the opposite wall of its original location while leaving the shower head in its original location. So in the photos you might notice that the valve is on the left, and the shower head is on the right (fixed panel side of the shower). The shower had a decorative liner installed about 5′ high, the edge treatment on the corner seat was a impromptu design. The seat was just going to look too plain, and we had enough liners left over, so there you go, and the homeowner really liked it.
